Q. Who qualifies for the Allowance Program?

A. Do you provide loans? No, we do not provide loans. We provide a debt consolidation service which will allow you to satisfy your current obligations without incurring more debt. The last thing people with credit problems need is more debt.

A. Do you charge a fee?
Yes, however this fee is structured into your monthly payment program and is far below the amount of money we save you in reduced interest charges, late fees, and total monthly expenditures.

A.
Are you a Collection Agency?
No! We work for you! We will stop creditors from harassing you once you join our program.

A. Do you repair credit?
Through the use of our services, your credit rating will improve by showing a positive payment history as we consolidate your debt and pay your creditors monthly. However, we do not erase negative credit history. Any person or company who says they can is lying. What we will do is ensure that upon completion of the program, your creditors acknowledge in writing that you have satisfied your debt with them.

A. Can you consolidate things like a home mortgage and/or a car loan?
No, we work only with unsecured debt which is debt that is not backed or underwritten by an asset.

A. Who benefits from Financial Help Services?

You do, through a decrease in the strain in your creditor and family relationships.

Creditors do, through improved customer relationships and a reduction in outstanding debt.

Employers do, because they are spared the problem of dealing with garnishments - or employees whose personal problems interfere with their productivity.

A. What Kinds of Debts Qualify for a DMP?
Many debts can be included in a Debt Management Program, including most types of unsecured debt such as credit cards, medical bills, department store cards, lines of credit, collection accounts and taxes. Secured debts such as your house and car always stay in your budget because you need them to live.

A. Who Participates?
All major creditors participate in consolidation programs. Banks, credit unions, other lending institutions, department store cards, hospitals, collection agencies and state and federal governments are just a few examples.

A. How Do DMPs Affect Your Credit Rating?
Financial Help Services Debt Management Program is designed to put you in a better financial situation. Getting out of debt by making consistent payments will get you back into a productive financial category and will improve your credit rating over time.

A. Who qualifies for the Allowance Program?
The Allowance Program is very popular to people who are habitual late payers, people with traveling jobs...people who always miss due dates... people with budgeting problems.. or those who simply do not like writing checks and paying bills. Then, once you are current on all accounts, and if you feel disciplined enough to budget on you own, we will return your organized financial records to you.

To qualify for this program, you must make enough money each month to pay all you bills, including the budgeted allowance, with enough left over to open a small savings account in the near future. And, although you may have delinquent accounts for a couple of months, we must be able to get you back to a current status within four to six months
